Aero Mexico Baggage Policy

Carry-on baggage
All Aeromexico passengers are allowed to bring one carry-on bag and one personal item onto the plane. The carry-on bag must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (21.5 x 15.7 x 10 inches) in size, and the personal item must not exceed 40 cm x 35 cm x 15 cm (15.7 x 13.8 x 6 inches) in size.

Checked baggage
The amount of checked baggage you are allowed to bring depends on the type of fare you have purchased and the route you are flying. For example, Basic Fare passengers on domestic flights are only allowed to check one bag that weighs up to 25 kg (55 pounds). Club Premier Platinum and Gold members, on the other hand, are allowed to check two bags that weigh up to 32 kg (70 pounds) each on domestic flights.

Oversized and overweight baggage

- Pets must be in a hard-sided carrier that fits under the seat in front of you.
- The carrier must be no larger than 20 pounds (9 kg) and 18 inches (46 cm) high, wide, and long.
- There is a fee of $162 USD for international travel and $1350 MXN for domestic travel in Mexico.
- Pets must be at least 10 weeks old and have a current rabies vaccination.
- Pets must be well-behaved and not disruptive to other passengers.

Pets in the cargo hold
- Pets must be in a soft-sided or hard-sided carrier that is properly ventilated.
- The carrier must be no larger than 99 pounds (45 kg) and 84 inches (213 cm) high, wide, and long.
- There is a fee of $252 USD for international travel and $1600 MXN for domestic travel in Mexico.
- Pets must be at least 10 weeks old and have a current rabies vaccination.
- Pets must be healthy and not under any type of medical treatment.
